Turner has been nominated in the Supporting Actress Drama category for her role as Sansa Stark in HBO’s Game of Thrones.
Priyanka took to her official Instagram handle to share a story praising her sister-in-law and actor Sophie Turner while also lauding other nominees of the year.

She wrote , “Congratulations to all of the Emmy nominees this year, but especially to you Sophie. We love you and are so incredibly proud of you.”
She also gave a shout-out to Rachel Broshanan of Marvelous Mrs Maisel, Milo Ventimiglia of This Is Us, Viola Davis for How to Get Away With Murder, and Beyonce Knowles Carter for her film Homecoming: A Film By Beyoncé among others.
Sophie is nominated in that category with three other Game of Thrones co-stars including Gwendoline Christie, Lena Headey and Maisie Williams.
Joe Jonas, actor, singer and husband to the 23 year old also congratulated the star on social media. He also shared an Instagram story congratulating Turner for her nomination while saying that he was very proud of her.
